Over the course of our nearly 30-year history in the truck equipment industry, some of the strongest customer relationships we’ve developed have been with Ag dealers throughout the Southeastern US. We understand that Ag equipment farm trucks are just as complex and need just as much service attention as any heavy construction equipment, and we offer countless customized solutions geared towards helping our Ag partners maximize their service opportunities and productivity. Whether you’re on a construction site or a farm, field service provides great revenue opportunities, and we work with you to build the ideal trucks for the opportunities in your area. NFE is a one-stop-shop for all of your Ag equipment and farm service truck needs.
Nichols Fleet Equipment specializes in customized solutions for the most specific jobs our customers tackle, and farm service trucks are no different. If you have a unique application that requires a unique work truck, call us and we will be happy to discuss your needs and how we can build a truck to help.
Offering the full line of IMT and Stellar service bodies and cranes allows us to customize smaller Class V (or below) units to meet the needs of Ag dealers who might specialize more in smaller equipment. From smaller hydraulic cranes to electric cranes on lighter-duty bodies, we can customize a unit to fit the unique needs of your dealership. Of course if your needs call for larger trucks and equipment from IMT or Stellar, we’ve got you covered there, too!
Payload is always at a premium no matter what industry our trucks are servicing, and one way to increase yours is with a lighter body. We are pleased to now be able to offer aluminum crane bodies from Stellar Industries to our customers looking for bodies strong enough to handle powerful hydraulic cranes while minimizing additional weight at the same time. Stellar’s TMax Aluminum line offers bodies capable of handling cranes from a 3200lb electric all the way up to their 30′ 12000lb hydraulic crane.
NFE has represented Reading Truck Bodies since our doors opened in 1991, and we’ve always considered theirs to be the best light-duty utility bodies in the industry. More and more in recent years we have seen customers adding smaller trucks to their service fleets to handle all kinds of jobs that do not require larger bodies and cranes. Reading provides the ideal platform for such trucks, and NFE offers their full line, which we can customize to meet the specific needs of our customers. Reading bodies are offered in both steel and aluminum, and feature useful options like flip-top sides, rollout drawers, and even custom NFE additions like cab-guards, safety lighting, spray on protective coating, and workbench bumpers.
We love working with our customers to develop new concepts to help them take their business to the next level. Over the years, these projects have taken many shapes throughout many industries, and Ag is no exception. Our customers know that large farm equipment isn’t the only type that needs service, and they see the revenue-producing opportunities that servicing smaller home equipment can bring. The unit pictured here was specifically designed for just that — with custom CTech cabinetry for parts, hooks for belts, a drive-up rear door, and even a winch/hoist for pulling in and lifting up riding mowers, this “Ready to Mow” concept is ready for quick, onsite service of smaller machines.
Miller’s EnPak line has been a proven game-changer for our industry. As our Ag customers know as well as anyone, Tier 4 truck engines are simply no longer made to idle making PTO configurations problematic. The EnPak line exists to eliminate those problems. The EnPak A60 provides the power to run larger truck-mounted hydraulic equipment and provides a generator and a powerful 60cfm rotary screw air compressor as well. Ideally suited for smaller trucks, the versatile A30 system that offers a 30cfm screw compressor, battery charge/crank assist, a 6500w generator, welding capabilities, and the power to run smaller electric cranes. The EnPak A30 unit provides a lot of versatility for any application — the Ready-to-Mow concept truck discussed above is powered by the A30, and by mounting it on a custom slide-out tray, servicing the unit is fast and easy.
Whether you’re looking for hydraulic, underhood, or gas-drive, NFE has you covered when it comes to air compressors. We will work with you to find the right compressor solutions for your job and your specific truck. We also know that many of our customers have access to their own compressor lines, and we’re happy to install customer-supplied units (like the Deere unit pictured here) on the trucks we build. We can install remote start options and in-compartment hose reels to keep your workers from having to climb into the truck bed every time they need to turn on their compressor, saving your company time on the job. We even offer partitions (pictured) to keep your compressor safe from sifting items in your load space.
